　　Once I reported back, I took Santiago to inspect the barrier. He thinks it'salso the culprit that's responsible for jamming our long range signals. Sobasically, as long as this barrier exists, we have no way to reach the outsideworld. We're completely isolated.

　　Unless, of course, we find a way to take it down.

　　计划告吹了。我出发之后还没到一天，我的任务就碰壁了，或者更准确地说，是一面包围了整个区域的隐形能量壁障。另外，这绝对是我经历过的最糟糕的的降落之一。我的肩膀还疼着呢。

　　我刚返回营地报告情况，就立刻又带着圣地亚哥前去检测那道屏障。他认为这道屏障就是干扰我们远程通讯的罪魁祸首。所以总的来讲，只要这道屏障还在，我们就无法和外界取得联系。我们完全被孤立了。

　　除非，当然了，我们能够找到破坏它的方法。

　　We've finallyfound our target. Apparently those three obelisks on the horizon are attachedto some crazy teleportation tech, and each one is linked to a fourth signalhigh above us.

　　Whatever's up there is what we need to take out.

　　Santiago says he can get us there by bypassing the security on one of theobelisk's platforms. Trouble is, we don't know what'll be waiting for us, andnot everyone here's combat ready. So we're going to take the diplomaticapproach and make our mysterious hosts a present.

　　The leaders don't want to risk spoiling the surprise, so we're discretelybuilding it in pieces. The whole bomb won't even be assembled until the minutethe operation starts. Our captors won't know what hit them.

　　我们终于找到了我们的目标。显然这三个位于地平线上的方尖碑和某种疯狂的传送门科技有关，而且每一个方尖碑都和位于我们上方很远处的第四个信号相连。

　　不管那里有什么，我们都需要关闭它。

　　圣地亚哥说他能够绕过方尖碑的安检系统，把我们传送到那里。但问题是，我们不知道会有什么东西在那里等着我们，而且并不是所有人都做好了战斗的准备。所以我们打算采取外交手段，给我们神秘的主人一份大礼。

　　领导者们不想毁了这份惊喜，所以我们将它分成几份制造。直到行动开始前的几分钟，我们都不会组装这个炸弹。拐来我们的人不会知道是什么袭击了他们的。

　　Things have gonesideways in a hurry, and I mean seriously FUBAR. Destroying that platformdidn't just weaken the barrier trapping us here, it took out the whole freakingsky, or at least the giant hologram that was posing as it.

　　So yeah, turns out this entire landmass and everything on it is orbiting theEarth like some kind of artificial space island. Wild right? I'd appreciate thesheer insanity of that a lot more if this place didn't feel like it was fallingapart.

　　We're taking all we can carry and making a break for that cave system wediscovered a while back. If the atmosphere's thicker underground, then we'vegot a shot of pulling through.

　　事情迅速地发生了一面倒，我是指完全一塌糊涂了。炸毁那个平台不仅仅让关住我们的屏障变得脆弱，还把整个该*死的天空弄没了，或者说是把那个伪装成天空的巨型全息投影弄没了。

　　所以，没错，事实证明，这整个大陆和它上面所有的东西就像一个人工的宇宙岛屿一样绕着地球旋转。疯狂，不是吗？如果这个地方没有看起来快要散架了的话，我一定会欣赏这其中纯粹的疯狂的。

　　我们带着我们能够带上的所有东西，朝着我们先前发现的一个洞穴冲了过去。如果地下的大气更厚的话，我们还有机会活下去。

　　Looks like wemade it just in time. I backtracked to take a peek at the surface, and it'sjust one big fire. That's not a metaphor, I mean it's actually burning.

　　I guess some combination of the radiation that's leaking through the barrierand reflected sunlight is turning it into our own private hellscape. That's notexactly the kind of thing you want in your backyard, so the plan is to keepdelving into these caverns.

　　The good news is that they're way bigger than we ever thought. We should beable to set up a pretty extensive base of operations, and after that...betternot think that far ahead. Chin up and eyes forward, soldier.

　　看来我们刚刚好赶上了。我折返了一段路去看一眼地表的情况，那里现在一片大火。这可不是什么比喻，我是说真的烧起来了。

　　我猜是穿透了屏障的辐射和反射进来的太阳光一起把这里变成了我们的地狱。你肯定不希望生活在这种地方，所以现在的计划是继续窝在洞穴里。

　　好消息是这些洞穴比我们预料的要大得多。我们应该能够在这里建立起一个稍具规模的行动基地，在这之后……还是不要考虑那么遥远的事情了。打起精神朝前看，士兵。

　　Our base islooking pretty fancy these days. We even had enough spare Element to whip upsome genuine Hyper Chambers. I'm feeling more rested than ever, yet somehowjust as restless. There's no sky to lose myself in anymore, that's the problem.It's left me too much time to think.

　　Weirdly, I keep coming back to my necklace, the Star of David one my mothergave me. Sometimes I catch myself reaching for it, forgetting it's not there.Why is that? I've never been too religious.

　　Better take one of those gliders for a spin to clear my head - they're the onlyway to fly now that our jetpacks stopped working. Maybe I'll think of somedirtier jokes while I'm at it. Halsted one upped me on the last patrol and Ican't let that stand.
